David Krugel: Shintaro title= David Krügel (South Africa)

After more than 20 years in the performing arts, as a dancer/choreographer, David discovered his talent for painting. A much sought after release from all the physical challenges he experienced during his profession as a dancer.

David spend his childhood energy doing athletics, swimming, cycling and circus trapeze.
Asked by a friend to paint a portrait of a famous opera star, he agreed and realized that painting was taking a hold of him. He slowly progressed to oil paints and felt the calmness coming over him while molding and blending the pigments.

Now his works form part of several private collections in the United States, Netherlands and South Africa.
