Founded in the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, this vocal trio consists of the three jazz singers: Liesbeth Gieben (NL), Egle Petrosiute (LT) and Liesbeth Maiburg (NL).
At the beginning of december 2014, the threesome got together for the first time to try out one of their first arrangements. After discovering the rich blend of their voices, a great chemistry and shared affection for lyrics, they officially named themselves: The Royal Sisters.

The project performs self-arranged jazz standards, in which the main focus lies with the lyrics. Consequently the gold ‘n olden standards get a fresh and playful twist and become very accessible to the audience. This earned them the comment: ”You guys sound like the evil Andrews Sisters!”
